The Antique Caffe: Bridging the Past and Present

For antique lovers, there’s nothing better than spending an afternoon combing through the sections of a new antique store to discover a priceless treasure to take home. The only thing that can make the experience better is a caffeine hit to fuel your hours of antiquing. Well, for those in Johns Creek and the surrounding area, there’s a coffee shop that combines both! Since opening its doors on November 28th, 2023, the Antique Caffe has become a haven for those who want a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy a latte and peruse through a curated collection of European antiques.

The unique concept of this family-owned business blossomed from owners Zubin and Jenny’s love of antiquing and their son Vincent’s passion for the business and coffee side. Their desire to bring a sophisticated European ambiance is reflected throughout the store, with Zubin and Jenny’s specially selected antiques ranging from tea sets, clocks, and larger items such as a piano that are for sale. As for the food and drink menu, the cafe serves up specialty lattes, affogato, coffee, refreshers, tea, breakfast and lunch sandwiches, as well as a selection of pastries. They also have a wide range of syrups such as pistachio and honey and a variety of alternative milk options. Once you place your order at the counter, you can sit at any table in the shop, all of which are fitted with vintage chairs to fit the atmosphere. The shop provides free wifi for guests making it the perfect place for those who work remotely or need to catch up on schoolwork.

Another unique aspect of the Antique Caffe is their Afternoon Tea experience which guests can reserve up to 24 hours in advance for! Whether it’s for a bridal shower, a birthday celebration, or a fun afternoon with your friends, reserving an Afternoon Tea is a must! Guests are encouraged to dress for the occasion and will be warmly welcomed upon their arrival by the staff. As for the experience, guests get to choose their tea set and tea flavors which adds a fun interactive element. Tea sandwiches and small desserts are served on a three-tier dish to nibble on as you take in the serene ambiance of vintage collectibles and classical music playing in the background. The menu is inspired by a trip that Zubin and Jenny took to Europe where they met a French-American chef who taught them how to make high-quality sandwiches and other items.
